Cajun Smoke was the brainchild of Shawn Ledet. Being a true cajun, my mom taught me how to cook when I was 12 years old. Learning to cook cajun dishes from Chicken Andouille Gumbo, Seafood Gumbo, Red Beans, Stews etc. When I had a family of my own to cook for, I was very tired of using so many different seasonings, and there was a lot of them. So I started blending ingredients together until I came up with my own special seasoning, CAJUN SMOKE. The main thing is that I didn’t want a lot of salt in it like some cajun seasonings. I was always taught you can always add salt but you can't take it out. With the support of my wife, we made it a business, Cajun Smoke, LLC. This stuff is like magic. I don't even have Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning or a salt shaker in my house anymore. I use Cajun Smoke on everything. Cajun Smoke is the best new thing since sliced bread. Everyone should try some!!!!! It's delicious!
